David is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under the legendary Alliance Jiu Jitsu coach, Mario Reis. David is also the first American to be promoted to the rank of Black Belt by Professor Reis.

Shortly after receiving his Blue Belt he began assisting with coaching the beginners class and after receiving the rank of Purple Belt started teaching classes of his own. Now with over a decade of experience in Jiu Jitsu his passion for the art only continues to grow. In his instruction he exhibits fine details in technique and has proven an ability to pass these details to others for years. In addition to teaching David has successfully competed in multiple grappling tournaments and continues to test himself in competition to this day.

Dan is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Andy and Mike Main. Dan started martial arts in Brazil at a young age and in addition to his Black Belt in BJJ he holds rank of Green Belt in Judo. He has been on the mats coaching for several years and we are happy to have him as part of the team.

Flavio was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil and trained at the world famous Alliance Mario Reis Academy from White Belt to Black Belt. Flavio started training in March of 2013 and was awarded his Black Belt in December of 2022. Flavio brings with him much competition experience and success, placing on the podium in all levels of competition
Flavio was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil and trained at the world famous Alliance Mario Reis Academy from White Belt to Black Belt. Flavio started training in March of 2013 and was awarded his Black Belt in December of 2022. Flavio brings with him much competition experience and success, placing on the podium in all levels of competition from IBJJF opens to Brasileiros. In May of 2023 Flavio made the move to the United States at which time he joined the Core Family.

Christina started training in 2018 and quickly became a strong part of the women's team at Core. Having her own kids training it was only natural for Christina to start helping with the kids classes, where she now plays an important role that she takes great pride in. Christina currently holds the rank of Blue Belt and continues to train several times per week.

Ron did not start training at Core BJJ but he is currently one of our longest training students joining the team in October of 2017. Ron when not on the mats is a Police officer and also runs the Junior Police Academy. He currently holds the rank of Brown Belt and is the BJJ Fundamentals Coach.
